How sad is it that my reaction to Rumsfeld's resignation was:

"Noooooo! What will the In My Worlds be without El Estrangulador and Chomps?"

Today's front page headline: "Rigid theologian elected."

You know what? I don't care if it has a great comics page. When I move out, I refuse to subscribe to that paper.

I told my parents, and they agree that it's the last straw. My dad said he'd cancel. (Heh. Bit of a shock at first, since I wasn't prepared to lose my comics that soon.)

I'm still debating whether or not to write to the editor about it. ("Hey, I'm a college student, and here is one customer you will never have because of your ridiculous headline. Who are you to judge other people's religions, you pie-throwing ex-'Catholic' libs?")

If I could say one thing to those [expletives] applauding the starvation of Terri Schiavo...

Many that live deserve death. But some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them?

One of the many things I love about LotR is that so many quotes and themes from it are relevant today.
